The Naga People’s Front (NPF) Mokokchung Division held its oath-taking and thanksgiving programme for the Division office bearers on December 6 at the Division office.
Delivering the welcome address, Repameren, President of the NPF Mokokchung Division, underscored the need for unity among party members, stating that collective harmony was crucial for strengthening the party and working for the welfare of the people. He further urged members to extend cooperation and support to one another so that the party could scale greater heights. Sharing reflections on the party’s journey, Bangerzulu, Treasurer of the Division, narrated how the NPF was formed in the state and highlighted how the party symbol, the ‘cock’, has stood the test of time through various political phases.
The oath-taking ceremony for the office bearers was administered by N. Bendang Jamir, Senior Vice President of the NPF Central, who also led the members in reading the pledge. Following the ceremony, a dedicatory prayer was offered by Moanukshi, Associate Pastor (Youth), Yimyu Baptist Church. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Tangit Imsong, Working President of the NPF Mokokchung Division. The meeting was attended by central leaders from Mokokchung, senior party leaders, and members of the NPF.
