Dimapur, July 19 (MExN): Following the installation of NPF in Okotso village on January 31, the NPF Okotso village unit has been functioning full swing with concerted efforts of the unit leaders.
The unit, having toiled up a morung type Shack as office and the unit’s centre, held its first meeting in the unit’ office/centre on July 17 attended by TL Merry, vice president NPF Central who exhorted the gathering that exclusively comprised of the Unit’s office bearers, advisors, women wing, executive members and village council members, stated a press note issued by general secretary Nchumthung Ngully, president L.Nchumbemo Murry.
The note also stated that several other senior members who spoke, highly appreciated the performance of the NPF led DAN Government under the able leadership of Neiphiu Rio, chief minister and Dr Shurhozelie president, NPF and encouraged the gathering and assured their cooperation and support to the village unit of the party workers.
It also added: “NPF Okotso village unit, inter alia, wowed to stoop and with humble approach, make sincere efforts to build healthy relation with all neighboring villages in particular and others in general to expand the friendship circle as true Christian brothers and sisters. The unit resolved to remain loyal to the DAN leadership and work hard towards strengthening the NPF.”
