Dimapur, April 1 (MExN): Naga People's Front (NPF) Secretary Central, Aonungkum has passed away on March 31 evening at Guwahati after a brief illness. In a condolence message, Apong Pongener, President, NPF stated that it was a great pained to have parted with one of the staunch regionalist of the party who served the party under various capacities. He was an active and distinguished party leader who always works for the party with dedication and sincerity and his demise has created a big vacuum which will be difficult to fill but his contribution towards the welfare of the party will always be cherished and remembered, Pongener stated in the note. While conveying condolences to the bereaved family, NPF also prays “Almighty God to grant solace and comfort to the loved ones of the departed souls at this hour of grief and intense sorrow. May his soul rest in eternal peace!”
