NPF to hold seminar on govt functioning, party’s constructive role

Kohima, April 26 (MExN): The Naga People’s Front (NPF) will organise a one-day seminar on “Insight on Government Department Activities and Constructive Role of the Party Leaders” on April 28 at its Central Headquarters in Kohima.

According to a press release issued by the party’s Press Bureau, the seminar will begin at 10 am at the party conference hall.

The programme will feature resource persons including Mhathung Yanthan, Advisor for Agriculture; K T Sukhalu, Advisor for Food and Civil Supplies and Legal Metrology; G Ikuto Zhimomi, Advisor for Land Resources; and Metsubo Jamir, Minister for Rural Development and State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD).

Achumbemo Kikon, MLA and Secretary General of NPF, will present the introductory note.

The session will be moderated by Lhouvi Punyu, Working President of the Central Youth Wing (CYW), and Achung N Phom, General Secretary of the Central Women Wing (CWW).

Invocation will be delivered by Ahino Tep, President of Tseminyu Division, while Y Tokiu, President of Shamator Division, will pronounce the benediction. Special numbers will be presented by Lolia Ngouri and Themshao P.

Participants invited to the seminar include members of the Central Women Wing, Central Farmer’s Wing and Central Youth Wing, along with convenors of the Central Minority Wing and various cells, COB division in-charges and assistant in-charges, and all division presidents.
