NPF unit warns against propaganda

Kohima, February 7 (MExN): The NPF of 9th Kohima Town A/C has expressed shock “to learn that some unscrupulous persons were circulating propaganda in various social media tendering their resignations as office bearers of 9th Kohima Town A/C.”

Based on office enrolment records, the NPF in a press release stated “those persons who tendered their resignations have not even enrolled either as primary or active membership.”

Therefore, the office of the NPF, 9th Kohima Town A/C has asked them to prove their enrollment serial number, date of joining, year, etc. from primary and active membership number enrolled in NPF.

The press release from NPF, 9th Kohima Town A/C general secretary, Vikehiekho Kintso further cautioned those “purchasable persons” not to create confusions and mislead the public through propaganda to gain mileage.

Meanwhile, it questioned on “what moral ground and authority” have those person(s) who have not even enrolled either as primary or active membership in the party tendered resignations.

“The office has taken very serious note against some unscrupulous leaders forging signatures and using fictitious names to create cheap propaganda and will initiate its own course of legal measures,” it added.

The NPF, 9th Kohima Town A/C meanwhile held a meeting on February 6 and re-affirmed their “unflinching support” to the NPF intending candidate Dr. Tseilhoutuo Rhutso in the forthcoming general election.

The office bearers present in the meeting further agreed that if any office bearer(s) desert or leave the party at his or her own volition or through vested interests, the post they are holding will stand null and void. In this regard, they also resolved to initiate stern action deemed appropriate.
