Wokha, November 11 (MExN): The former President of the NPF Wokha Division, Monthang Patton and all office bearers have resigned from the primary and active membership of the Naga People’s Front “with the firm decision and commitment to support the leadership of the Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and President of the NDPP, Chingwang Konyak on November 11 in the presence of senior party functionaries of the NDPP.”
NDPP Media & Communication Committee in a press release stated that “the decision of these leaders from Wokha district to join the NDPP will greatly benefit and strengthen the party and at the same time also reveals the people’s belief in the NDPP and the leadership of Neiphiu Rio and Chingwang Konyak. “
“With their joining the NDPP fold, we are confident of taking the party forward in Wokha district and Nagaland to greater heights in the days to come,” the release added.
