NPF Youth Wing responds to BJP Pughoboto

Kohima, September 27 (MExN): The NPF Central Youth Wing today responded to the BJP Pughoboto Mandal with regard to the termination of appointments in Health & Family Welfare Department, which the former termed as “illegal appointments made by corrupt officers.”

Recently, BJP Pughoboto Mandal had questioned the NPF Youth Wing’s ‘silence’ and ‘failure’ to answer the questions raised by the Mandal on the issue.

“The NPF Central Youth Wing wonders why a reputed national political party keeps on vociferously insisting a reply when they themselves know that the then corrupt officers (now retired) had demeaned and belittled their office by issuing illegal appointment orders just for their personal vested interest,” stated a rejoinder from Media Cell, NPF Central Youth Wing.

The rejoinder stated it should be the endeavour of all the alliance partners (DAN) to ensure that no Government officers misuse their authority when they are in the chair. “There are various instances where officers make illegal and unauthorized appointments when they are on the verge of retirement and this present case of Health & Family Welfare is one of the classic examples of such practices by an officer on the verge of retirement,” it maintained.

“Since BJP is a national party, it is expected of them to know that any appointment made without Government approval i.e. (without the approval of the concerned Commissioner & Secretary) is illegal and therefore liable to be dismissed,” the rejoinder added.

The NPF Central Youth Wing further clarified that “NPF derives its strength from the grassroots, as the people at the grassroots are the ‘High Command’.”

Meanwhile, it wondered why BJP Pughoboto Mandal is “so interested to protect the illegal and corrupt means done by those officers responsible for making random appointment without the approval of popular Government when their High Command leaders are talking tall on ‘Corruption Free India’.”

The NPF Central Youth Wing also asserted that it will continue to check illegal appointments made without the approval of the Government, “as the party is committed to its election manifesto.”
