According to a press release from MIP Kilonser, N Mar Ao, leaders and well wishers from different social societies and churches attended the function.

Ato Kilonser Z. Hozeto graced the function as Chief Guest while President Temjenyanger Aier was special guest of honour.

The chief guest in his speech stressed on the need of inclusiveness and participation of all stakeholders so as to bring about an amicable solution to the long protracted Naga Political issue that is acceptable to the entire citizens of Nagaland, the release stated.

He expressed hope that the entire NPGs will unite under a common platform and the future political aspects will be decided by honouring each other in the spirit of love, unity and forgiveness.

He also encouraged the members present to be sincere and honest and render selfless service for the common cause of Nagas. He highlighted the activities of the NPGN/NNC (N/A) up to international level and encouraged the members not to be afraid of manpower but to fear God and work according to His will.
