Dimapur, December 15 (MExN):  The National People’s Youth Front (NPYF) and the National People’s Women Front (NPWF), frontal organisations of the National People’s Party (NPP), carried out a relief distribution programme for families affected by the fire tragedy in Burma Camp, East Block.

An update received here stated that the unfortunate incident has severely impacted the lives of 75 households, affecting a total of 622 families, leaving many without basic necessities. The NPYF and NPWF jointly distributed clothes, relief aid, and essential commodities to help ease the immediate hardships faced by the victims.

Leaders from both fronts emphasised that such efforts are not merely acts of charity but a moral responsibility to support fellow citizens in distress. They also appreciated the resilience and courage shown by the affected families during this difficult time.
