Kohima, October 27 (MExN): NPP Kohima District Unit conducted a consultative meeting cum picnic at Kisama, Kohima on October 24. It was attended by NPP State President, Dr Andrew Ahoto Sema, district frontal bodies including women and youth wings and more than 100 members.
NPP Nagaland State in a press release stated that Dr Andrew issued a clarion call to the entire rank and file of the party to bring about positive transformation in the state through NPP. He categorically stated that the word ‘change’ has become redundant and real change is but a distant dream.
The vision of NPP, according to him, is not to bring about change, but to bring a rapid transformation in every sphere of the Naga society, even in the Church. “What the Nagas need the most at this moment are good and upright leaders, everything else will fall into place once this is set in order,” he stated. Dr Andrew reiterated that all the political parties are good, each with their own set of visions and manifestoes. “The only thing that sets them apart from each other is the quality of their leaders and members.”
Dr Keviseto Kintso, Convenor of NPP Kohima District cum Working President of the State NPYF welcomed the new inductees into the party. Others who spoke were Dr Ketholezo, Vice President, NPP Kohima, Er Meshenlo Kath, General Secretary, NPP Kohima and Kelengoto Soleho, President, NPYF Kohima.
