NPP Nagaland, NPF Minority wing mourn

Dimapur, June 3 (MExN): The National People’s Party (NPP), Nagaland State and Naga People’s Front NPF Minority, on Thursday, has mourned the demise of H Tovito Aye, GB of Thahekhu Village and Proprietor of Nilli Motors on June 1. 

The NPP, Nagaland State remembers him as a great human being and a passionate and upright Naga leader who always had a deep concern for people around him, the party stated in a condolence message issued by its president, Dr Andrew Ahoto Sema.

 It is this deep concern that inspired him to spend a major part of his lifetime devoted to the cause of humanity and he played a monumental role in shaping the history and development of not only the Thahekhu Village but also the entire Sumi Tribe and the Nagas in general, it said.

In his untimely demise, the Sumi Tribe in particular and the Nagas in general have lost a great and humble soul, a benevolent, cheerful and chivalrous human being, it added. 

While paying its respects and homage to the departed soul, the NPP Nagaland State further offered its condolences to the bereaved family members and relatives of late Aye.

In a condolence message, the NPF Minority wing said that late Aye was closely associated with many socio-cultural organisations and had cordial relationship with minority citizens of Dimapur.

“His contribution will be remembered with respect and inspiration by the youth and senior citizens of Dimapur,” it said. 

“I, on behalf Minority Community and the party, extending heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family members and pray that The Almighty God bestow them with strength and perseverance at this hour of grief,” added the message issued by Bishnu Bhattacharjee,President NPF Minority wing, Central.
