Kohima, August 20 (MExN): The Nagaland Public Service Commission in the recently concluded Combined Technical Services Examination (CTSE) 2017 found two candidates indulging in unfair means while appearing the Civil Engineering (Diploma) paper on July 20.
According to a press release from NPSC Secretary Khrupi Sothu, a meeting held to deliberate the matter on August 9 highlighted that the commission’s primary task was to conduct recruitment examination in a “free, fair and transparent manner” and any detection and breach of these principles “cannot be condoned under any circumstances.”
It stated that the indulgence of both the candidates in unfair means was “established beyond reasonable doubt.”
The commission, therefore, cancelled their candidature for the CSTE, 2017 and further debarred them to appear any examination conducted by the NPSC for a period of one year with effect from August 9.
