DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 4 (MExN): The Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) has informed that except for one writer who appeared and retracted his statement which appeared in the local dailies, the other writers did not appear before the NPSC as called for through a notification. As such the NPSC stated that it was compelled to construe that such persons are non existent and are only casting aspersion against the image of the NPSC under assumed names. “Therefore, the general public is cautioned not to be misled by such wild allegations”, stated NPSC Secretary Dellirose M. Sakhrie in a press note.
It may be mentioned that the NPSC had notified through the local media inviting all the writers of news articles pertaining to the recently conducted NCS, NPS and Allied Services Main Examination 2007 for a face to face clarification.
Except one person no one else appeared, the NPSC informed while stating that the said writer who appeared retracted his statement and admitted that he was not present in person as a matter of fact during the examination to be a witness to mass copying etc. Accordingly, he tendered his apology in written in the presence of the Magistrate and two representatives from the NSF, informed the NPSC Secretary.
