NPYF observes World Blood Donor Day in Dimapur & Mokokchung

Dimapur, June 15 (MExN): The Nagaland State Unit of the National People’s Youth Front (NPYF) of the National People’s Party (NPP), along with the Mokokchung District NPYF, organised a voluntary blood donation programme at the District Hospitals of Dimapur and Mokokchung to commemorate World Blood Donor Day on June 14.

The event was conducted in collaboration with the hospitals’ blood banks and aimed to raise awareness about the critical need for safe blood donations, while honouring the selfless individuals who donate blood to save lives, stated a press release from the NPYF.

Youth volunteers, NPYF members, and members of the general public participated in the event. The Front also expressed gratitude to the medical teams at the District Hospital Dimapur and Mokokchung (IMDH) for their assistance.

Stressing the importance of regular blood donation and its impact on public health, the NPYF reaffirmed its commitment to community welfare and pledged to organise similar health-centric activities in the future.
