Mokokchung, May 17 (MExN): The two-day National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) External Assessment of PHC Mongsenyimti, Mokokchung started on May 17. PHC Mongsenyimti is the first PHC in Nagaland to qualify for NQAS External Assessment.
The CMO Mokokchung in a press release stated that NQAS External Assessment was assessed by a two-member team of empanelled external assessors, Col Dr RK Agarwal, Project Director, Lucknow and Dr Vikas Moudgil, Addl. SMO, Health Department, Haryana.
The NQAS Certification Programme is the highest National quality certification for public Health facilities, which was launched in the year 2013 to improve the quality in Health care services. The certification is awarded against the fulfillment of the National quality assurance standard criteria accredited by International Society for Quality in Healthcare.
