NRE advisor Khriehu assures to meet expectations

Khriehu Liezietsu, advisor New & Renewable Energy (NRE) & Music Task Force (MTF), and chairman Kohima District Planning and Development Board today assured to put his best effort to meet expectations of the NRE department in particular, and for the people of the state in general.

Speaking at the welcoming programme organized by NRE department here this afternoon, Liezietsu also solicited the support and cooperation of the officers and staff in order to achieve the common goals.

“With dedicated and committed team like you and with your support and cooperation, I am very much positive that we will be able to work together for the welfare of the people,” he said.

Earlie, NRE director Er. T.S. Angami in his introductory speech highlighted the various activities and ongoing projects of the department and requested the newly inducted NRE advisor to attend to some of the issues and grievances being faced by the department.

The director requested the government to look into the matter pertaining to creation of post as proposed by the department, to get service rules approved at the earliest and also to speed up the process for construction of the directorate building.

The programme was chaired by T. Ao, secretary (IAS) NRE. while vote of thanks was proposed by Er. Vitoshe Rochill, joint director NRE.
