The Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS) will be introducing Mobile ICTCs (Integrated Counseling & Testing Centres) shortly in order to create mass awareness campaign on the services of ICTCs in the state. The NSACS is looking for a good vehicle for this purpose, said Dr. Tiasunep, Deputy Director, NSACS while delivering presentation on ICTCs during the launching programme of 360 Degree Multi Media Campaign here.

To be started sometime in September/October in Mon and Tuensang district, Dr. Tiasunep said that the Mobile ICTCs will go to different villages in these two districts where it will create awareness campaign on better access to ICTCs, adding that the services will also be rendered on vehicles itself.

It may be recalled that Nagaland too joined the rest of the country in launching a nationwide 360 degree multi media campaign on ICTCs with effect from 15th August 2007 to 15th October 2007, to promote counseling and testing for HIV in Nagaland with the objective of reaching out to all the high risk and vulnerable population.
