
Kohima, September 30 (MExN): The Nagaland State Bharat Scouts & Guides held its 39th state council meeting on September 28 at State Headquarter Conference Hall, Bayavü Hill Kohima. The programme was chaired by Asangla Imti, Director Youth Resources & Sports and Vice President NSBSG and began with invocation by Thejazeü Khruomo State Commissioner (Guide) NSBSG while welcome address was delivered by Khyomo Lotha, Ex MP State Chief Commissioner NSBSG.
Annual report of the NSBSG 2015-16 was highlighted by John Tochimong, State Secretary cum SOC (S) which was then followed by release of parchments and certificate to the qualified Himalayan Wood Badge Guide Captains by Asangla Imti, Director YRS & Vice President NSBSG.
Neibou Sekhose, State Treasurer presented the Annual Budget 2015-2016 and also highlighted the tentative action plan for the Golden Jubilee Celebration which will be held in April 2017. During the Business Session agendas put forward by the State Executive Committee were discussed and approved as forwarded, some of the important issues discussed in the meeting were the Celebration of the Golden Jubilee of the NSBSG in 2017, developmental works and activities to be taken up by the State for the year 2016-17. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks pronounced by RR Apollos Headquarter Commissioner (Scout). This was stated in a press release issued by NSBSG State Secretary cum SOC (S) John Tochimong.
