Kohima, October 26 (MExN): In commemoration of its 50 years of existence, the Nagaland State Bharat Scouts & Guides (NSBS&G) Golden Jubilee Organizing Committee has released the itinerary of the jubilee from October 2016 to April 2017.
During a meeting held on September 15 under the chairmanship of NBS&G President, Khriehu Liezietsu, the house deliberated upon several agendas including documentation of the celebration, constituting the 12 sub-committees, jubilee logo, construction of jubilee building, itinerary of jubilee and fund for the jubilee celebration.
The itinerary include construction of Jubilee building SHQ in the month of October, jubilee tour to 11 districts during October- November 2016, tour to New Delhi and Panchmari (MP) and National Jamboree, International Youth Meet at Arapuri (Haryana) in December 2016-January 2017. Among other events, a State level seminar on importance of Scouts & Guides, SHQ will be conducted in the month of February 2017 followed by inauguration of Jubilee building in the month of March 2017.
According to a press release issued by Secretary, Golden Jubilee Organizing Committee, K. Neibou Sekhose, the celebration will culminate with a Grand finale in the month of April 2017 at State Training Centre (STC) Nerhema where 1200 Scouts and Guides from all the 11 districts and National Headquarters New Delhi are expected to participate.
