NSCN (I-M) cautions ‘illegal businesses’

DIMAPUR, SEPT 14 (MExN): The “Crime Suppression Department” of the  NSCN (I-M), has cautioned those engaged in “illegal business” to “immediately mend their ways or face dire consequences.” The department has especially taken serious note of rampant vehicle thefts, illegal vehicle business, smuggling of arms and ammunition, free flow of liquor and drug peddling. These offenses disturb the law and order in “Nagalim,” a note titled “general awareness” said. 

“Persons selling illegal vehicles, cheating the innocent customers by giving fake registration certificates and other documents procured by themselves saying it to be genuine, will be dealt with iron hand.”  

The public have also been warned not to buy such vehicles to “avoid further troubles.” In instances of loss of vehicles, and providing information relating to crimes, the public have been informed to report to the CSD or to dial 246195 (O), 9436003498 – CSD Secy I/C and 9436431805 – “CSD commander.”
