DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 10 (MExN): The Assam Rifles in a joint operation with the State Police apprehended a cadre of the NSCN (IM) at general area Ghonovi village, Dimapur district on September 8.
A press release from AR informed that one point 22 pistol with magazine was also recovered. The apprehended individual has been handed over to Diphupar Police Station for further investigation.
In another operation, security forces with Police apprehended two individuals and recovered illegal liquor at general area Zubza, Kohima on September 8.
The press release informed that 785 cases of illegal liquor, with value amounting to approximately Rs 28 lakh was recovered.
The apprehended individuals and recovered items have been handed over to Zubza Police Station.
