Dimapur, October 19 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) Chang Region today warned of stern action against anyone found violating the decision of the Chang people not to cooperate with any faction other than the NSCN (IM).
The CAO of the NSCN (IM) Chang Region, in a press release issued through the MIP, disclosed that the warning comes in the backdrop of the decision of the Chang people on May 11, 2004 “not to cooperate with any other faction other than NSCN in the matter of paying tax and other related matters”.
“The Chang Region authority hereby warn the people in the Chang Region to honor by the people’s decision in spirit and in action,” the release stated.
The release warned of strict action against as deemed fit against anyone ‘found going against the ‘peoples’ decision’.
