Hebron, August 27(MExN): The NSCN (IM) has expressed grief over the demise of Late Suilak Newme, OA-I, Cabinet Office, GPRN. Late Suilak passed away at Samziuram village, under Asalu (Zlr) Region on August 26.
The NSCN (IM) in a condolence message issued by its MIP Cell stated that Late Suilak joined NSCN in 2004, after being relieved on health ground in 1974 from NNC. “He was a man who placed the Naga national interest above everything else by discharging his assigned duties and responsibilities diligently,” it said, further adding that the void created by Late Suilak Newme demise would be difficult to fill in.
“For his selfless service rendered for the Naga nation, his name shall be recorded in the pages of Naga history and his sacrifices ever be cherished by all,” it said.
The NSCN (IM) further conveyed its deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and pray for the departed soul to rest in to peace.
