NSCN (IM) condoles

DIMAPUR, JULY 8 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has expressed sadness at the passing of Lieutenant (posthumous) Livingstone Chapou of Lai village under Spmth Region. A press release from the MIP of the NSCN (IM) informed that he enrolled in the Naga Army on January 25 bearing Army No. UV-30159 of General Headquarters, Naga Army and served the Naga Nation with dedication, sincerity and loyalty.

In recognition of the service rendered towards the Naga Nation and as a mark of tribute to the departed comrade in arms, 2nd Lieutenant Livingstone Chapou was posthumously bestowed the rank of Lieutenant. “NSCN acknowledge the family for giving the Naga nation a great son and patriot. The precious service rendered by him for the cause of the Naha nation shall always be cherished and recorded in the pages of Naga history,” it stated and extended condolences to the bereaved family.

Another press release from the MIP of the NSCN (IM) expressed sadness at the demise of
Lukhevi Zhimomi, Tatar, of Zhuikhu village under UT who passed away on July 8 after prolonged illness.

He was elected Tatar on August 2, 2018. “Since then he served the Naga nation with full dedication till his last breath. For his tireless service and sacrifices he will be remembered for all time to come. His name shall be recorded in the pages of Naga history,” the NSCN (IM) said. It further conveyed condolences to the bereaved family.
