Dimapur, January 7 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) Chakhesang Region has drawn attention to ‘low grade road construction’ within Chakhesang areas, stating that it would lodge complaints against the concerned contractors.
In a press release on Saturday, the Advisor CAO, Chakhesang Region, Zhotoyi Therie stated that a 20 kilometre stretch of 2-lane road construction undertaken by a ‘KKB Company’ was ‘one of the worst performance’ in the region— from Pfutsero to Phek via Sakraba Town. “Moreover, the black topped (road) has been damaged within 5 to 6 months with pot holes due to poor workmanship and lack of material component,” it added.
In this connection, the Chakhesang Region cautioned the concerned contractor that a complaint and FIR would be lodged against them, and its licenses/registration would be cancelled or blacklisted.
