DIMAPUR, AUGUST 5 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has expressed gratitude to the Naga public for their support and prayers during the recent illness of its General Secretary, Th. Muivah, who was undergoing treatment at the Referral Hospital.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Information and Publicity (MIP), the group acknowledged the care extended by doctors and nurses during what it termed a “testing time” for its leader.
“We thank the medical team for their quick thinking, reassuring words of comfort, and helping hands. Your outstanding service and compassion made a real difference in the recovery of our leader,” it stated.
The NSCN also thanked supporters and prayer groups from across Nagalim, terming their solidarity “encouraging and spiritually enlarging.”
“To the visitors and well-wishers, we humbly acknowledge your concern and unwavering support. It made a comforting difference to our General Secretary,” the statement said.
The group concluded by expressing gratitude to “Almighty God for His healing touch,” enabling Muivah to continue leading the Naga political movement.
