
Dimapur, October 18 (MExN): NSCN (IM) has grieved the untimely demise of Captain Kihomong Zanger on October 15 after a prolonged illness. He hailed from Langonger village under Yimkhiung (Yimchunger) Region. He enrolled in the Naga national service on February 7, 1998.
The MIP, NSCN (IM) in a press release stated that Kihomong served the Naga nation with unwavering patriotism until his demise. The void created by his demise is deeply felt and would be difficult to fill in. For his selfless contributions to the Naga national cause, his name shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and he shall be remembered for all time to come.
It also conveyed deep condolences to the bereaved family members. “It is our prayers that the Almighty God will comfort his family members during this time of grief. We pray for his soul to rest in eternal peace,” the MIP added.
