DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 11 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has expressed sadness at the demise of Lieutenant Colonel Lohrü Kayina, bearing Army No.AB-32567, Ihoshe Battalion, Naga Army from Tadubi village under Shepoumaramth Region, GPRN. A press release from the MIP of the NSCN (IM) stated that he enrolled in the Naga Army on November 15, 2004 and subsequently served the Naga Army in various capacities till he breathed his last at Raj Medicity Hospital, Imphal on September 6, 2023, after succumbing to a car accident injury. “The Naga Army stands in paying homage to the departed soul. The family in particular and the Naga nation in general have lost a great son and a patriot. The precious service rendered by him for the cause of the nation shall always be cherished,” it added. The NSCN (IM) further conveyed condolences to the bereaved family.
