‘NSCN (IM), NNPGs have agreed to come together  for discussion’

Dimapur, October 11 (MExN): The Political Affairs Mission (PAM) of the Naga People’s Front (NPF) on Sunday stated that it held a series of consultative meetings with the NSCN (IM), 7 NNPGs WC, various Naga civil societies and also with authorities representing Government of India who are directly involved with the Naga negotiators.

In its press release, the NPF-PAM said that both the NSCN (IM) and the 7 NNPGs have agreed in principle to come together and discuss across the table as proposed by it in separate meetings with both the groups.

It informed that the date and venue of the consultation with both the groups would be formulated ‘very soon’.

Further, during the course of interaction with various civil societies, the NPF-PAM observed that every Naga wanted an early solution. For ‘one solution, one accord’, all the Naga negotiating groups should come together and discuss across the table, it observed.

The NPF-PAM added that it would also reach out to all the other groups who are yet to join the peace process.
