Dimapur, October 22 (MExN): The NSCN (IM), through its Ministry of Information & Publicity, today clarified that the “stand-off like incident” that took place on October 21 between Naga Army of NSCN and Assam Rifles somewhere near Council Headquarters (CHQ) Hebron has been “resolved amicably at higher level.” The MIP, in a press release, further stated a related story that was carried by a local daily was “not based on factual account and has no official connection with NSCN’s version on the incident. There was no snatching of arms from the Assam Rifles as reported by the local daily, it added.
