NSCN (IM) UT informs businesses

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 27 (MExN): The NSCN (IM), office of the Union Territory (UT) has informed all “non- locals engaging in different kind of trade in Dimapur Town to desist from using the name of locals in their respective trade license.”

“This has been necessitated due to the number of complaint received from the general public and a number of cases which has been reported to the office of the UT, NSCN/GPRN that certain illegal activities such as, adulteration, price manipulation, duplication of goods, immoral activities in hotels and lodges are all been carried out using the name of locals, while the actual business is being run by non- locals to earn extra profit while locals and general public are being victimized,” a press release from O Tuccu, Secretary, UT, GPRN.

It further informed that all legal business will be supported but using the name of locals to trade their illegal business will not be tolerated henceforth. It also informed owners of the night clubs and restaurants to close down before 10:30 pm “as a number of girls were being caught in an unusual time in an inebriated state engaging in immoral activities.”

Further it claimed that “many young girls and boys were caught using illegal drugs such as Spasmo Proxyvon(SP), Sunflower, Alprazolam, Codeine Cough Syrup etc. The Office of the UT, NSCN (IM) said that it would take proper and stringent action against those defaulters.
