DIMAPUR, AUGUST 2 (MExN): The NSCN-K (Ang Mai) on Friday reiterated that it has not authorized any individual or entities to collect taxes within the state of Nagaland.
It stated that certain individuals are fraudulently collecting taxes under the guise of the NSCN-K (Ang Mai) from businesses in and around Dimapur. In this connection, it urged the public and business owners to verify any tax collection claims before making any payments.
Anyone or any establishment engaging with these fraudsters without verifying would be doing so at their own risks, the press release stated.
The NSCN-K (Ang Mai) also issued stern warning to those engaged in these fraudulent activities- to cease immediately or face severe consequences in accordance with the Yehzabo of the government.
