Dimapur, April 30 (MExN): A regular case has been registered at Diphupar Police Station, Dimapur against two persons who were apprehended by 32nd Assam Rifles troops on April 27. The two have been identified as Kito Chishi (30) and Eska Chishi (40). “During the course of investigation, the accused persons revealed that they are members of NSCN (K),” stated a press release from PRO, Dimapur Police.
On April 27, Assam Rifles also apprehended another NSCN (K) cadre named Kheio Shohe @ Toki. According to the PRO press release, seven SP capsules, Rs. 31,800 in cash, and two extortion slips were recovered from him. In this connection, a regular case has been registered at Diphupar Police Station and further investigation is on, it added.
Meanwhile, Dimapur Police arrested one person identified as Heshu Moa (31) for possessing 43 cases of various brands of IMFL on April 27. Accordingly, a case has been registered and investigation is going on, the release said.
