DIMAPUR, JUNE 20 (MExN): NSCN (K) has said that its cadre “Corporal” Nyemye Konyak whom the GPRN/NSCN claimed was killed during Tuesday’s gunfight near Zhekiye village under Zunheboto district was only injured and out of danger. NSCN (K) MIP said that its cadre was hit on the leg and recuperating at Civil Hospital Mokokchung. However, when contacted, a functionary of the GPRN/NSCN Sumi region stood by its statement that the “Corporal” succumbed to his injuries.
