Dimapur, May 16 (MExN): The NSCN-K has denied the reported (on April 29) 2007 defection of a secretary, into the NSCN-IM’s fold. The reports had mentioned the NSCN-IM welcoming the reported functionary. “Maj (Retd)” Yimto Yim, dy. Kilonser of “PR & NGOs” stated in a note that the GPRN Yimchunger region has no secretary by the name of Anthony. “Our regional secretary is Er. Muzeh Yimchunger and he is very much with us” he informed “We sincerely believe that the so-called top leaders of the IM terrorists are listening, watching and waiting. We sincerely believe that you must be glad to reap the harvest of the dirty seeds that you have sown” he stated and cautioned that the quit notice is still in effect. Similarly, in a separate note in reference to a news item that appeared in a local daily on Sunday, April 25 “secretary” of the Yimchunger region, Muzeh Yimchunger informed the MIP of the NSCN-IM that the region has no functionary by the name of Anthony or Totsulem.
