The note stated that the decision was taken for the “alleged irresponsible attitude and failure to maintain dignity of office” by the YTC president’s M Tsesong. The region had intended to discuss and “share problems” with “as the responsible leader of the tribe,” the not claimed.
For this he was invited for a meeting on June 10, “but failed on his part.” For these reasons, “we demanded resignation from the presidentship on his failure to shoulder his responsibility as a leader” it asserted but assured that “we don’t have any ill-feelings or misunderstandings” with the YTC. The note appealed to the YTC and PPFA “not to take the press statement “as defamation to the tribe and community, be it YTC or the PPFA.”
