NSCN K to act into PWD salary looting

Dimapur, July 18 (MExN): The NSCN-K has termed as “very unfortunate” the incident on July12 when miscreants looted the two-month salary of Rs 12.59 lakh meant for PWD work-charge employees. The NSCN-K assured that if any one of its own cadres is found involved, the cadre “shall not be forgiven” as much as any others found involved using the “good name” of “our government.” Such ugly and unforgivable incident was beyond imagination of “our government” and is condemnable by one and all, the NSCN-K stated through K Zhimomi “secretary of public relations, NGOs and education.”

“It was a very unfortunate incident as the work-charge employees are hardly surviving with their meager salaries which too they never get in time. Looting of their salary therefore is equivalent to taking their lives” it reminded. The NSCN-K informed that on receiving the information about the looting “our government” is inquiring into the incident.

Asserting that looting and extortions are not the “attitude and policy of our government” the NSCN-K appealed to all that if anybody has any information or clue on the culprits, the same be reported for necessary action.
