DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 29 (MExN): The NSCN-K (Yung Aung) today claimed that it along with the Revolutionary People’s Front (RPF) were responsible for the attack on the 21 Assam Rifles near Nampong, in Changlang, Arunachal Pradesh on September 29.
“During this tactical engagement, our joint team neutralized one enemy soldier and critically injured several others, and successfully recovered one AK assualt rifle from the site,” a press release from the NSCN-K (Yung Aung) claimed.
“Our Wesean People are not lost people but we are united, determined and steadfast in our struggle. We stand unwavering in our solemn duty to defend our land, our people and our freedom against all oppressive forces,” the press statement added.
