DIMAPUR, February 24 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN (Reformation) on Monday notified that except through the Finance Secretary, no middlemen/brokers etc will be assigned to facilitate or negotiate any financial matters pertaining to NSCN (R).
NSCN (R) through its MIP issued a statement warning against ‘some unscrupulous elements’ who are “collecting/demanding in NSCN (R)'s name which cannot be tolerated at all costs.”
It claimed that in some cases “some 'self appointed/claimed so called 'brokers (dallals)' appears on the scene from both sides (donors and beneficiary) who, for their own huge shares and benefits, creates misunderstanding and animosities within.”
As such, it said, “We know in detail, the exact identities of those 'Shoddy Characters/Bouncers' from other factions” and warned that NSCN (R) would disclose their names or even arrest them if need be.
“Any financial matters including royalties/legitimate collections/donations/contributions, etc, are to be dealt only through the Chaplee (Finance) Secretary TG Achumi who can be reached at all times at 7628812191,” the release stated.
