Dimapur, June 15 (MExN): The Deputy Kilonser, Finance in charge Dimapur NSCN (R) T.K. Sumi, has strongly refuted a news report regarding the arrest of one its cadre by Dimapur Police.
A press note from MIP Secretary, M.I.P. NSCN (R) stated that the Deputy Kilonser (Finance) in charge of Dimapur does not know any Kawato Aye, reportedly a civilian, nor does he have any knowledge about the hand written demand letter and booklets of NSCN (R) information slip.
Deputy Kilonser further stated that many extortionists have come up and some unscrupulous elements with forged signature and demand slip in the name of the certain revolutionary groups are operating, it said.
All the business establishment, various agencies, governments departments and general public are informed to ascertain from the competent authority before dealing with such matter, it added.
