NSCN (R) terminates two cadres

Dimapur, June 16 (MExN): The NSCN (Reformation) has terminated two of its cadres, Lt. Col. Shitokhu and Captain Atoka, from the national service with immediate effect for “disobedience and extortion case.”   According to a press release from the NSCN (R), Lt. Col. Shitokhu was released from Dimapur Town Commander on April 29, 2016 and asked to report to the authority in the camp, but he failed to report. He was again served second calling order on June 1, 2016 through the media to report at GHQ on or before June 5, 2016, but he failed to report and “continued with the extortion in the name of NSCN/ GPRN (R),” the release issued by MIP Secretary stated.

  Therefore, after thorough deliberation, the government of the NSCN (R) has terminated Lt. Col. Shitokhu and Capt. Atoka from the national service in the interest of the NSCN (R) and Naga peoples in general, it added.   The NSCN (R) further informed all the business establishments, HoDs, various agencies and general public not to deal with the terminated cadres in any matter.
