Dimapur, September 9 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN (Reformation) today alleged that its former member, Abel Zingru Thuer Pochury, who was the Deputy Kilonser and Member Cease Fire Supervisory Board (CFSB), has defected to GPRN/ NSCN with Rs. 30 lakh in cash and government files. The money was meant for Ceasefire related meetings’ expenditures, stated a press release from MIP, NSCN (Reformation).
“Therefore, NSCN (Reformation) on humanitarian ground gives 15 days time with effect from September 10 to Abel Pochury to return the amount and government files. Failure to do so, the NSCN (Reformation) will take its own course of action,” the release read.
Meanwhile, NSCN (Reformation) requested the leaders of GPRN/ NSCN not to interfere in this issue as “Nagas are unable to come together for one good reason due to attitude and mentality of such people amongst Nagas.” The NSCN (Reformation) expressed belief in the maturity and understanding of NPG leaders.
