Tuensang, August 11 (MExN): The president of the NSCN/GPRN (K), Lt. Gen (Retd) Khango has issued an apology to the Chang Khulei Setshang (CKS) on August 11. The apology comes after the CKS passed a resolution to dissolve the Chang region of the NSCN/GPRN (K) with immediate effect on August 5 following the killing of the Secretary of the NSCN/GPRN (K) Chang region in Tuensang Town on August 4. In his letter, the president of NSCN/GPRN (K) assured that the government will initiate befitting action against the accused “as per the Azha,” and sought the consideration of the apex body of the Chang community in this regard.
