Dimapur, March 12 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN (Khango) has directed to all the proprietor of “night clubs, lounges, bars and restaurants serving alcohols to close down their shutters by 10 PM.”
The directive is being issued after thorough deliberation on multiple public complaints, maintained a press release from the MIP NSCN/GPRN (Khango).
It further cautioned all concerned business establishments to refrain from employing underage boys and girls as helpers, waiters, or waitresses in their respective establishments under the guise of employment.
The proprietors were also directed to strictly monitor the entry of underage persons into the establishments and not to entertain them under any circumstances.
The Crime Monitoring Cell of the NSCN/GPRN (Khango) has been tasked to mobilise and strictly conduct regular checking to enforce the directive with immediate effect, the release claimed.
“Any of this business establishment found entertaining underage boys/girls either as customers or helpers will invite stringent action,” it added.
