DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 9 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN Khaplang once again made it very clear to the victim’s family and the Ao tribe, that its officials Imtitongzuk of Longjang Village, Lieut.Tongpangyongdang of Tzuremen and Moa Phom of Yaongimjen village had in no manner, either as an individual or as NSCN/GPRN members were responsible for the death of Innatoshi of Yaoyimsen on 2nd October 2011. Stating this in a press note issued by the MIP, it pointed out that the “blind malignant accusation by IM group in haste right after the incident” implied its own “underhand tactics and direct knowledgeable participation, since our presence and activities are seldom undertaken in the said area”. “Where as it is beyond doubt that IM group had been using the same area to carry out much of its anti-social acts, hence, it’s direct or indirect involvement cannot be ruled out”, the MIP press note stated.
