With regards to the allegation of 13 Pughoboto A/C Congress Committee that its candidate Jushua Sumi was harassed by the personnel of Naga Army attached with the ZB Battalion as per Pughoboto ACCC President T. Vikhepu by way of frisking him and his supporters at gun point the matter has to be clarified and NSCN would like to come clean. There is no question NSCN taking any extra interest in this Nagaland Assembly Election in any manner whatsoever and would rather appreciate candidates and voters going for clean election. But to the great displeasure of NSCN candidate in Pughoboto was found corrupting the voters through money power and distributing money to woo the voters to vote for him. Frisking was done to prove our point and around Rs.5 lacs was found from the candidate and his supporters.
Countering the ACCC President who appealed NSCN to allow the public to go for free and fair election the President must show this in the field and not by misleading the people by way of indulging in issuing statement that is far from truth.
