Kohima, May 19 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN (R) has issued a stern warning against what it termed a certain “bogus individuals” allegedly posing as active members of the organisation and claiming authority to oversee financial transactions in Kohima district.
In a statement issued by its Ministry of Information and Publicity (MIP), the NSCN (Reformation) said it had come to its notice that some individuals with “sinister intention” were falsely identifying themselves as members of the organisation and dealing with various financial matters in the district.
The organisation clarified that no individuals by the names of “Abel”, purportedly claiming to be a Deputy Kilonser, and “Benpai Konyak” exist in the NSCN/GPRN (R) or are active members of the government.
The organisation cautioned the alleged imposters to immediately desist from such activities, failing which the government would be compelled to initiate “befitting action” in accordance with the Yehzabo of the government.
It also appealed to all concerned individuals, the business community and government departments not to entertain or engage with the alleged imposters under any circumstances, the statement added.
