NSCPCR and SCERT Nagaland organise Pariksha Parv

Kohima, March 2 (MExN): The Nagaland State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NSCPCR) under the aegis of National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (North East Cell) in collaboration with the State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT), Nagaland today organised Pariksha Parv at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Yakokie, Kohima.

Pariksha Pe Charcha is a nationwide campaign initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The programme was attended by 154 parents and teachers from Kohima district.

The primary objective of the programme is to celebrate examination as a festival as inspired by Narendra Modi to create a platform for discussion and interaction on examination related matters.

Addressing the gathering, Alun Hangsing, Chairman, NSCPCR stressed on the need for celebrating examination like festival and a platform for expressing one's talents.

Dr Zavise Rume, Professor, SCERT, Nagaland and Akumla Longchari, member, NSCPCR were the resource persons.
Dr Zavise Rume emphasised that examination was equally important for teachers to determine the extent of achieving the educational objective in the teaching-learning process.

He suggested the participants to adopt new strategies to make examination more joyful and interesting so as to reduce examination stresses.

He also stressed various techniques for management of stress related to examination.
Akumla Longchari in her speech discussed about the primary objective of the programme and the examination mantras for parents and students.
