W Nginyeih Konyak receives award on March 28.
Kohima, March 31 (MExN): Nagaland State Commission for Women (NSCW) Chairperson W Nginyeih Konyak has been conferred the 8th edition of ‘The Phenomenal SHE’ Recognition Award by the Indian National Bar Association (INBA).
The award was presented by Sudhanshu Pandey, Election Commissioner (Union Territories), at the Constitution Club, New Delhi on March 28. It will also be featured in a Coffee Table Book series recognising women who have demonstrated leadership, resilience and impact across diverse fields.
According to the citation, the recognition acknowledges her service as Chairperson of the NSCW and her efforts towards advancing gender justice, safeguarding women’s rights and promoting women’s empowerment in Nagaland.
