
Tuli, June 1 (MExN): Legal awareness programme on human trafficking was held at Tuli Town, Mokokchung District on May 31 at Tuli Town Hall organized by Nagaland State Commission for Women (NSCW) in Association with National Commission for Women, New Delhi.
It was attended by a large audience including Watsü Mundang Tuli Unit- Tzütikong, Layong, Pastors and members of all local churches, GBs association, DBs Tuli, Adhoc members of Tuli Town Committee, Anganwadi workers, Students Union Tuli, Tzütikong and Layong, prominent social leaders, ADC Tuli, OC Tuli and Para Legal volunteers Tuli, Suppliers & Contractors Union Tuli.
With this programme, the Nagaland State Commission for Women concluded their project of holding 21 (twenty one) programmes on the subject throughout the length and breadth of the State which began on March 21, 2017.
A press release from the Commission stated that wherever the programme were held the public acknowledged the importance of disseminating awareness about this social evil and appreciated the efforts of the Commission towards raising the consciousness of all the stake holders to work in a concerned manner to eradicate this menace from society.
